I'm wondering if the wiki would be best served by having "Picking and Plucking" redirect to "picking". Any thoughts? --Dkaplowitz 23:00, 3 January 2006 (CET)

I think that there is enough picking/plectrum based technique, and fingering technique in the world, to have 2 seperate articles. Snake 23:10, 3 January 2006 (CET)

I think the title for this article should maybe be fingerstyle vs. flatpicking, or have two separate articles on fingerstyle and flatpicking. I prefer those two terms. Also, fingerpicking is a subset of the more general fingerstyle. See the wikipedia article on fingerstyle [1]. --Jonandtice 18:35, 18 September 2007 (CEST)
