Ibanez is a company and its brand name that deals in guitars and related equipment. The company was established in Nagoya, Japan in 1957 by the Hoshino Gakki group (loosely translated as Hoshino Musical Instruments). The company has now been operating for more than 50 years and is has business influence all over the world, and is noted to be one of the first major Japanese musical companies that has had a major influence in the Western world.
